Allison Inquiry | Dr. James Thorp | Day 3 September 10th, 2026
US maternal-fetal medicine physician Dr. James Thorp presents his analysis of the medical literature and government data on COVID-19 vaccines in pregnancy and fertility. He argues journals are influenced by industry, presents Pfizer post-marketing and US reporting data on pregnancy losses, and says most long COVID is vaccine injury.
Dr. James Thorp is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and maternal-fetal medicine physician with over 45 years of experience, more than 250 publications, and past roles as a journal peer reviewer and board examiner. He says he saw 27,500 high-risk pregnancy patients between 2019 and June 2023, when he was fired from his hospital. He presents his view of bias in medical publishing, including journal ownership, retractions and payments to reviewers and editors. He then presents his analysis of the Pfizer post-marketing data, the New England Journal of Medicine pregnancy study, VAERS and V-safe data, saying he finds signals for miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death, fetal malformations and menstrual changes compared with influenza vaccines. He describes what he says was an ABOG letter to obstetricians in 2021 that he read as a threat to their licences, and the response he sent. He cites reported clusters of stillbirths in a California hospital and in British Columbia. He says most long COVID is vaccine injury, citing an MIT analysis of V-safe data, and discusses fertility, ovarian biodistribution, birth rates and male reproductive effects. In questions, MPs ask why there has been a cover-up and how Canada should move forward, and he gives his views on money, power, informed consent and his colleagues' conduct. His slides and CV are entered as exhibits.
