Allison Inquiry | Marylou Lavalle | Day 2 September 9th, 2026

Marylou Lavalle speaks for her husband Dominic, a healthy 48-year-old HVAC technician who developed dizziness and blurred vision 16 days after his first Pfizer dose, then a seizure and clots in his brain. She describes the ICU, doctors who called it bad luck, and five years without answers.

Marylou Lavalle, 53, has spent 33 years in the aviation industry and was married to Dominic for 23 years, after knowing him since grade school. She describes him as a 48-year-old HVAC technician, an outgoing, energetic man who loved cooking, hiking, travel and his son Michael, and shows photos of their life together. The couple sought vaccination to protect themselves, and Dominic, who could not work from home, received his first Pfizer dose on April 12, 2021. On April 28 he called her from a work drive with blurred vision and dizziness, and over the following days he said he felt off, had mild abdominal pain, a bruise, and two days of headaches. Early on May 11, Lavalle says, he had a grand mal seizure, and paramedics rushed him to hospital, where she says a CT scan showed clots throughout his brain and he was transferred to an ICU during the third wave, with their son not allowed to visit. She recalls the neurologist asking whether he had received AstraZeneca, then being told he was just unlucky, while a hematologist urged that it be reported as an adverse event. She spent five days with him in the ICU and promised to be his voice. She says she was silenced for five years and appeals for healing and for the injured to be heard. MPs express sympathy and ask about the doctors' support.
