Allison Inquiry | Joseph Pritchard | Day 4 September 11th, 2026
A 46-year-old former project manager describes high blood pressure, sweating and swelling after two Pfizer doses, then a rush to hospital with acute necrotizing pancreatitis days after a booster. He describes staff assuming he was drug-seeking, sepsis, a coma, almost six months in hospital, lasting organ and leg damage, and a compensation claim in limbo.
Joseph Pritchard, 46, was 41, a physically demanding project manager who worked on commercial buildings and houses, exercised five days a week and took no medication. He received Pfizer on May 20 and July 21, 2021. He says his blood pressure rose to about 160 over 100, doctors called it aging and said it was not the vaccine, and he had sweating, weakness and unusual temperature zones in bed, and friends noticed swelling. After a booster on December 27, 2021, he says severe abdominal pain sent him to hospital on December 31, where staff suspected a heart attack, then, he says, assumed he was drug-seeking on New Year's Eve and sent him to wait, until a doctor called him back by ambulance after a CT scan. He describes acute necrotizing pancreatitis from a football-sized pancreatic cyst that had ruptured, sepsis and multi-organ failure, a coma of about three weeks, dialysis, almost six months in hospital, and photos taken when his family expected him to die. Pritchard describes a blood clot he says started the cyst, a deep vein thrombosis in his right leg needing three surgeries, and 35% circulation in that leg. He describes diabetes, pancreatitis and digestive limits, a throat that was severely damaged, electric-shock-like shaking, PTSD and losing over 100 pounds. He says he cannot work, needs 15 to 20 medications, and depends on friends and family. He says his compensation application has met delays, a transfer to a new program, and being set back a step. MPs ask about the timeline.
