Allison Inquiry | Senator Ron Johnson | Day 1 September 8th, 2026

US Senator Ron Johnson, chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, presents his findings that FDA officials were warned in March 2021 that vaccine safety signals were being masked, and that they did not act on them. He also covers VAERS death data, early treatment, the injection-injured, and the case for a full COVID reckoning.

US Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin testifies under oath as the Inquiry's first witness, introduced as possibly the first sitting US senator to testify in a Canadian committee room. A 16-year senator, he chaired the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee from 2015 to 2021 and now chairs its Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, which has held hearings and pursued document requests on the COVID response and vaccine injuries. A former accountant and manufacturing executive, he opens with his respect for doctors and nurses, shaped by his daughter's open heart surgery as an infant, and his affection for Canada. He argues that early treatment was sabotaged, that lockdowns and mandates were driven by fear, and that Anthony Fauci's diary shows he privately saw COVID as closer to a bad flu than he said publicly. Johnson presents his April 2026 report alleging that in March 2021 senior FDA officials were warned that the algorithm used to analyze VAERS reports would mask safety signals, were then shown 26 signals from a corrected analysis, including sudden cardiac death, pulmonary infarction, Bell's palsy and strokes, and told the analyst to stop running the data. He cites VAERS death reports rising from about 280 a year before 2021 to over 21,000 in 2021, and a comparison of 25.5 deaths per million COVID doses against 0.46 for flu vaccine. He also discusses the injection-injured, including a React19 survey of its members, an NIH team that treated injured patients but did not publicize its work, compensation programs in the US and Canada, the loss of Facebook support groups, and a Canadian woman who, he recounts, turned to MAID. Other topics include turbo cancer and spike protein persistence, the modified mRNA and the changed definition of a vaccine, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine and remdesivir, hospital protocols, risk to children, nurses and soldiers dismissed over mandates, Pfizer's untested transmission claims, gain-of-function research, and how to hold officials accountable. MPs Chris Lewis, Mike Dawson, Ted Falk and Jamil Jivani, along with the Inquiry's organizers, question him throughout, and he closes by calling for a full COVID reckoning.
